SAQQARAH srl (hereinafter referred to as "ALIX" or "ALIX Real Estate Services"), whose registered office is located at avenue des Fleurs 30 - 1150 Woluwe-Saint-Pierre and registered under company number BE0652.692.214, is responsible for processing your personal data.

In collecting and processing your personal data, we comply with Belgian legislation on the protection of personal data and with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD).

Depending on your relationship with our company and your activities, you will provide us with the following personal data: your identity and contact details (name, title, address, e-mail address, telephone number). For certain specific legal obligations, you may be required to provide us with additional data.

You are responsible for all the data you provide and we rely on it to be accurate. If your data is no longer up to date, we ask you to inform us immediately.

You are free to provide your personal data, but we will not be able to offer certain services or collaborate if you do not consent to the collection and processing of certain data.

ALIX collects non-personal data. These data are qualified as non-personal data because they do not allow you to be identified directly or indirectly.

This data may be used for any purpose whatsoever, for example, to improve our website, our products, target our advertising or improve the services and activities offered.

Customer data

As part of our services and activities, we collect and process the identity and contact details of our customers and principals, their staff, employees, agents and any other useful contact person. The purposes of such processing are the performance of agreements with our customers, customer management, accounting and direct marketing activities, such as the sending of promotional or commercial information.

The legal bases are the performance of a contract, compliance with legal and regulatory obligations and/or our legitimate interests. For direct marketing activities (such as newsletters or invitations to events), authorisation will always be requested and may be withdrawn at any time.

Supplier and subcontractor data

We collect and process the identity data and contact details of our suppliers and subcontractors, as well as of any (sub)subcontractor(s), their staff, employees, agents and any other useful contact person. The purposes of such processing are the performance of this agreement, the management of suppliers/subcontractors, accounting and direct marketing activities, such as the sending of promotional or commercial information.

Other data

In addition to customer, supplier/subcontractor data, we also process the personal data of other persons, such as new customers/prospects, useful contacts within our sector, networking contacts, expert contacts, etc. The purposes of such processing are in the interests of our business, direct marketing and public relations. We retain and process personal data for the period necessary, depending on the purposes of the processing and the relationship (contractual or otherwise) with ALIX. Client and supplier/subcontractor data will, in all cases, be removed from our systems after a period of 7 years following termination of the contract, or after completion of the project, except in the case of personal data which we are required to keep for longer on the basis of specific legislation or in the event of ongoing litigation for which the personal data is necessary.

In accordance with and under the conditions of Belgian data protection legislation and the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation, we inform you that you have the following rights:

Right of access: you have the right to find out, free of charge, what data we hold about you and to check how it is used.

Right of rectification: you have the right to obtain rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you, as well as the right to complete incomplete personal data.

Right to erasure or restriction of data: you have the right to ask us to erase your personal data and to restrict the processing of such data in the circumstances and under the conditions set out in the General Data Protection Regulation. We may refuse to erase or restrict data which is necessary for the performance of a legal obligation, the fulfilment of a contract or our legitimate interest, provided that such data is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Right to data portability: you have the right to receive the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.

Right to object: you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on serious and legitimate grounds. However, you may not object to the processing of data which is necessary for the performance of a legal obligation or our legitimate interest, provided that such data is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

Right to withdraw consent: If the processing of personal data is based on prior consent, you have the right to withdraw this consent. This personal data will then only be processed if we have another legal basis.

Automatic decisions and profiling: The processing of personal data does not include profiling; you will not be subject to fully automated decisions.

ALIX's partners/subcontractors:

As part of our collaboration, if you give us your consent, ALIX will pass on your personal data to its carefully selected partners/subcontractors.

We ask them to ensure compliance with the legal and regulatory provisions in force, just like ALIX. In addition, ALIX also ensures that they comply with this Policy.

Under no circumstances will we sell your personal data and we will not make them available to direct marketing agencies or similar service providers, unless you have given your prior consent.

In order to process your personal data, we authorise access to your personal data to our employees, collaborators and agents. We guarantee a similar level of protection by imposing on them contractual obligations similar to those described in the data protection policy.

ALIX implements appropriate technical and organisational measures in order to guarantee an adequate level of security for the processing of your personal data. This level of security is established on the basis of the risks presented by the processing and the nature of the data to be protected.

ALIX has implemented appropriate security measures to protect your personal data, in particular against loss, theft, misuse or alteration of the information received, disclosure or unauthorised use of your personal data.

In the unlikely and unfortunate event that your personal data is compromised as a result of an information security breach, ALIX undertakes to act promptly to identify the cause of the breach and to take appropriate remedial action.

If necessary, in accordance with the law in force, ALIX will inform you of this incident.

Under no circumstances may ALIX be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by the erroneous or unlawful use of personal data by a third party.
